I question the accuracy of the prior answers. I measure the strut alone to 89mm or 3.5 inches. From the top of the strut to the axle center is 138mm or a little under 5.5 inches. From the top of the strut to the bottom of the tire is 162mm or 6-3/8ths inches.

What is the length from the wheel to the servo base? I measured 7.5 inches. Does this sound about right for any one willing to confirm. My reason for asking is to level the model for my gyro. If I measure from the servo base to the wheel apex, I get 7.5 inches. I have not measured the mains yet, although I see that they are much shorter, probably by about 2 to 3 inches. This is just a guess. Many thanks for any help.

We measured 7 inches from the retract mounting plate to the bottom of the tire.
